Shivambu Yoga and Nature Cure Center is serving in the field of Natural Health Sciences since its inception in 1975. This first Auto Urine Therapy Indoor Hospital, in India was founded by Honorable Dr. Shashi Patil (President - Shivambu Health Research Institute (SHRI), a versatile personality with pursuit of uplifting the mankind by service and compassion.

It is only because of his inquisitive interest and efforts this Ashram has developed to serve as an effective leader - a vital force- in the improvement of health and well being of the human community. The vision of this Ashram is to grow from the roots as an ideal treatment center of Shivambu, Yoga and Naturopathy to an University of Natural Health Sciences.

At this center the students, physicians, experts and researchers gather to expand the frontiers of Auto Urine Therapy, Yoga, Naturopathy and understanding of healing.

The Center has accomplished many achievements and landmarks since its founding, though initially there was lot of social resistance and criticism to run an indoor urine therapy hospital. But due to dedicated efforts, determined perseverance and results shown to patients and medical community, this Center became guiding force for the people who want the effective treatment and for students who want to learn this ancient divine therapy.

The privilege of authentic institute came to our way when former Prime Minister of India, Late Shri Morarajibhai Desai acknowledged the activities of this center and personaly visited this center on 19 Dec. 1981. Late Shri. Desai, was profound propagator and follower of Auto urine therapy. Often he consulted and took treatments from Dr. Patil. Shri Desai lived very healthy and active life till his age of 99 years.

Later in November 1990 recognition of our status as pioneers in Auto Urine therapy Amroli (a yogic kriya) and Natural medicine came when Dr. Shashi Patil was invited by Government of Romania for treatment of cancer patients.
 
Many medical doctors and experts started recognizing the miraculous results of this therapy. After years of practical experience and research the center developed an unique Integrated Auto Urine Therapy program effective and efficient in the management of many modern day disorders. The Center has represented is many National and International conferences of health sciences.

Till date thousands of patients suffering from common cold to cancer & AIDS have availed services and treatment from this center. After lot of experimental work, center has developed specific treatment modules for specific diseases. The center has published many books; research reports and has contributed to many research articles.

 
• Art of Healthy Living:
 
Duration: Five days residential program. Any person who has some minor health complaints or as a preventive measure may participate in this course. This is a health educational program which gives insights of healthy living.

Shivambu or Amroli known in english as auto urine therapy is ancient treatment modality which was part of traditions of Ayurveda and Yoga. The therapy comprasis of urine fasting, urine massage, enema, shivambu kriyas, packs, compresses etc as per traditional and modern theories.
